Life is full of gifts and responsibilities, but sometimes it can be overwhelming to manage them all. I reflect on my own experiences and offer a reminder to embrace your unique abilities and limitations. Plus, check out updates on our inclusive artwork project and a Kickstarter campaign for a zine about accessibility in tabletop games.

Helping you make lives better through Tabletop Roleplaying Games

Hi {name}!

My life is a series of gifts.

I'm a white cishet protestant male in the USA. I have ADHD and am somewhat hard of hearing, but I've learned to use those more to my benefit than detriment. I grew up with parents who constantly told me that they loved me and were proud of me. My wife loves spending time with me. I have a knack for problem solving, finding creative solutions to nearly any challenge I've encountered, usually so outside-the-box that nobody has ever tried it before.

But with great power comes great responsibility. 🕷️

Do you ever feel like you're not doing enough? Chronic fatigue or depression makes your To Do list grow faster than you can check off the items. Time spent on medical appointments, filling out forms, or sitting on hold consumes your time like a Bag of Devouring. A Survival check for you means spending hours online, researching and looking for solutions to get through your day.

You know those days when, at the end of the day, you're exhausted, but you can't point to anything you accomplished? Yeah.

I'm gradually learning that, no matter how many features your subclass gives you, you still can't do everything. Even the Wish spell comes at a massive cost, including necrotic damage from other spellcasting and, "In addition, your Strength drops to 3, if it isn't 3 or lower already, for 2d4 days."

You wouldn't expect to pour more than one potion from a potion vial, nor could you drink it with a Reaction. And you shouldn't expect to pour more from yourself than you can contain, nor faster than you can pour what you have.

You are amazing, but you're only who you are, not more, and not less. And that's exactly how much you need to be. Well done.

Inclusive Artwork is 112% Funded!
Contribute Now!

Thanks to all of our amazing contributors, we have surpassed our funding goal and are currently sitting at 112% with 16 days left to go!

But we're not done yet! Our next milestone is 200%, and when we hit that mark, we'll be adding even more amazing art to our library. Plus, for those of you who want to see even more diversity in your TTRPG projects, don't forget about our "Add a Piece" option. This allows contributors to commission additional art pieces, helping us to expand the library while also fairly compensating our talented artists.

So if you haven't contributed yet, there's still time to join in on the fun and help us make our TTRPG worlds more inclusive than ever before for as little as $2! Every little bit helps us get closer to our goal, and we can't wait to see what new artwork we can add with your support.

A Quarterly Zine about Accessibility Issues in Tabletop Games All issues available in PDFs, ePubs, and Print with alternate font + color options

Our friends at Accessible Games have just launched their fourth Kickstarter campaign to fund four more issues of their zine, Accessible Gaming Quarterly.

AGQ is the world's first zine dedicated to disability and inclusion in tabletop gaming. It provides articles that help gamers with disabilities adapt and improve their experiences at the table and educates non-disabled gamers about the challenges these players face.

Each issue includes a mix of creative and practical content, including essays, interviews, reviews, and more, all from the perspective of disabled gamers. The zine also features inclusive illustrations by disabled artists.

With your help, Accessible Games can continue to publish AGQ and make the world of tabletop gaming more accessible for everyone. Back their Kickstarter campaign today!

Thanks for your support!
