Helping you make lives better through Tabletop Roleplaying Games

Hi {name}!

Words are powerful.

A DM and players together use words to create a world that they experience together. As a DM, with a simple phrase, I can either lift the spirits of my players or bring them down to their knees. That is why I make it a point to always speak hope, love, and value into their lives. I hope these weekly messages give you some bardic inspiration, too.

But like Bardic Inspiration, while it benefits others, I often fail to hear it myself. My internal voice often sounds more like Vicious Mockery.

But when that happens, I’ve learned to stop and ask myself, “If someone I cared about were feeling like I am now, putting themselves down, what would I tell them? How would I speak the truth of their value to them?

It can be easy to forget what we know to be true. When negative thoughts about yourself arise, check for traps, because your brain can both set them and disarm them.

When we recognize the truth that we are lovable, capable, and worthwhile, that assurance makes us more capable, as confidence encourages innovation and initiative. If we think, “I’m no good,” that stops us from sharing our ideas and skills, stifling our contribution to the world, and the world is poorer because we believed the lies.

We need to be reminded of what we know to be true. If you don’t know it already, know it now. You are loved and valued. You have a future. Even if the present or past makes life challenging, it's still true. And I don’t know about you, but I need to be reminded of that. Every. Single. Day. I don’t know why, but I do. Thankfully, my family does that. My friends do that. My faith does that. I hope you have voices reminding you of that truth, too.

Thanks for joining us as we build this world as a more welcoming and inclusive environment. Your presence in this universe makes it better. Thanks for being in it.

Champion Spotlight

Cards & miniature depicting Armored paladin holding a braille book and magic staff, sword on his back, scars on his eye.

Meet Orrelius, the blind Paladin in our upcoming campaign! He's a fierce fighter with a greatsword and staff of healing. Orrelius is loyal, devoted, and enjoys life, but his past trauma and drive for perfection can put his allies in danger.

Improvements in the Lair

While work on the 1-click Limitless Heroics generator is progressing slowly (It's a bit complicated with so many tables interacting), we're adding buttons to the individual tables in the Lair like the ones below to make them easy to roll on the go.

(I'll probably eventually add them all to the public Tables page once I find an optimal way to do that with my limited scripting knowledge, but for now, they're only in the Lair.)

An elderly woman in a dark shop: "Grizelda's Cursed Curiosities"

Our friends at Scoundrel Game Labs present the Grizelda's Cursed Curiosities campaign on Kickstarter! This compendium of ghost-hunting adventures for 5E is a must-have for any DM looking to add some supernatural mystery to their campaign.

Each of the 11 adventures is tied to a specific item within Grizelda's Cursed Curiosities, a curio shop full of haunted and ghostly items, making it easy to incorporate into any ongoing campaign. Plus, the book includes new magical items, beautifully illustrated maps, and a collection of new monsters to add to your next campaign.

With scaling guidance included for every adventure, the book is perfect for any adventuring party.

Add some spooky to your game!

Thanks for your support!
